by the artist Jorge Blanco -

|
It was found out by Alejandro Delgado while he was diving at the
Ezequiel Ramos Mejía Dam on the Limay River Formation in
Neuquén Province. The fossils were taken out when the lake
waters allowed it.
It was a primitive Titanosaurian of the Brachiosaurus group. It
lived in the Late Cretaceous about 105 million years. It was about
8 meters high and 15 meters long. By that time, the climate was
hot and wet, the rivers were quiet ones without deepness. The Andesaurus
shared his habitat with crocodiles, turtles, and some amphibious
animals.
