Melbourne (Australia). The UNESCO included in the list of places regarded as Humanity's Heritage to the Ischigualasto National Park (very well known as "Valle de la Luna"), located in San Juan Province, and to the Talampaya National Park, located on the south of La Rioja Province. In the category of Cultural Goods, were also included the Jesuits Block (Manzana Jesuítica) placed in the middle of Córdoba's Historical Center, and the tourist area of the same province, known as the Way of the Ranches (Camino de las Estancias)

The decision was taken during the third day of the XXIV annual session of the Heritage Committee of the United Nations Organization for the Education, the Science, and the Culture.

The mentioned places are added, in this way, to the Cave of the Hands, and to the Glaciers National Park, both of them are located in Santa Cruz Province, to the Iguazú Waterfalls, to the Valdés Peninsula and to the Jesuit Mission of the Argentinean northeast. All these places had already been declared as Humanity's Heritage.

Seventy one properties, belonging to 43 countries were the main characters of the debates of the Heritage's Committee. It is integrated by 21 countries that are chosen by a 6 year period in the General Assembly of the 161 countries, that are members of the United Nations Organization. The current committee is integrated by representatives from: Australia, Belgium, Benin, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malt, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, Republic of Korea, South-Africa, Thailand and Zimbabwe.
