Love to the land and to the customs
Oberá
- "the one that shines", in Guarani language - is a big
city, since it is the second important one of the province,
and it is strategically located in the south center area.
The native inheritance and the one left by the different
migratory currents can be seen there.
Today, more than 15 communities cohabit there, keeping
the culture and traditions from their predecessors, and
as an example of friendship they gather every year to celebrate
this festivity. The best way to know Oberá is to walk along
its streets, full of squares. There are more than 150 industrial
establishments, especially those dedicated to herb production,
tea and wood. Oberá and the Sierras Centrales are a good
proposal for tourism. There are more than 50 tourist places
with a wide communication net, hotels, and first level gastronomy.
They guarantee a surprising trip.
